Georgina

Hello, Γειά σου!

In the studio:

I completed my undergraduate and master's studies at UCL, the Bartlett School of Architecture, and earned my Part 3 qualification from the University of Westminster in 2019. With over 7 years of experience working for award-winning practices in London, I bring a wealth of expertise to the studio. Notable projects encompass large-scale residential developments, heritage-led initiatives, mixed-use spaces, and office/coworking environments, showcasing my proficiency in diverse architectural challenges. My efficient and thorough approach, coupled with good communication skills allows me to successfully work with clients, large teams, stakeholders, and other consultants.

One amazing fact that we didn’t know about:

I learnt to ride a bicycle in my mid-20s, mainly on a Barclays bike. Shortly after, I ended up cycling from London to Paris with a close friend right after submitting our Masters projects.

Outside the studio – Interests and hobbies:

Beyond architecture, my interests extend to artistic endeavours. My digital print titled 'Whatever the Weather,' based on my thesis project, was featured in the Architecture Room of the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2020, curated by Eva Jiřičná. Painting and screen-printing are additional artistic pursuits that I like to engage in. I have been a member of Print Club London since early this year, where I am developing my screen-printing skills.

I enjoy keeping active with regular cycling and running, having completed the Hackney Half Marathon three times, and plans for a fourth in 2024... perhaps this will extend to a full marathon one day. I also enjoy seasonal sports such as snowboarding, beach rackets, and more recently, surfing. Surprisingly, I learned to snowboard in Greece, my home country, where many people assume it's summer and beach weather all year round.
