Part I Architectural Assistant

Responsibilities 

·        Preparing concept scheme designs from Client briefs.
·        Compilation of reports and documents and supporting the rest of the team in drafting documents for bids, expressions of interest and competitions.
·        Communicating schemes in a mixed portfolio of media from 2D CAD, 3D modelling and animation.
·        Advanced 3d modelling skills.
·        Provide environmental analysis with some experience in Vasari or Ecotect.
·        Preparing feasibility options for various projects and working with other disciplines to test the validity of designs.
·        Working as part of a team in the preparation of production information and working drawing packages.
·        Research and develop strategies for R&D.

Essential requirements:

·        Part I UK qualifications.
·        Proven experience of 2D, 3D skills (Microstation, Aecosim, 3ds Max, Revit)
·        An ability to design and present their work in 3 dimensions, using physical models and CAD software.
·        Proven experience of Microstation, Revit and 3ds Max.
·        An ability to sketch by hand
·        A strong interest in environmental design, ideally using software testing tools such as Vasari/Ecotect

 

Part II Architectural Assistant

Responsibilities

·        Accountable for individual small schemes and taking them through from inception to completion.
·        Preparing concept scheme designs from Client briefs.
·        Compilation of reports and documents and supporting the rest of the team in drafting documents for bids, expressions of interest and competitions.
·        Client facing responsibilities
·        Advanced 3d modelling skills. Communicating schemes in a mixed portfolio of media in 3D and animation.
·        Preparing feasibility options for various projects and working with other disciplines to test the validity of designs.
·        Working as part of a team in the preparation of production information and working drawing packages.
·        Site visits and preparing reports, minutes and liaising with suppliers and sub-contractors.
·        Research and develop strategies for R&D

Essential requirements:

·        Part II UK qualification.
·        An ability to design and present their work in 3 dimensions, using physical models and CAD software.
·        Ideal candidate will possess knowledge of Unreal Engine and VR.
·        Proven experience of Microstation, Revit and 3ds Max.
·        An ability to sketch by hand
·        A strong interest in environmental design, ideally using software testing tools such as Vasari/Ecotect
·        Working knowledge of UK planning system, building regulations, NBS specifications and ability to produce technical and production drawings packages.
