In the studio:
I joined Astudio in 2019 as a senior architect.
I am passionate about my profession and have over 14 years’ experience of working on a wide range of project types and scales, from New York skyscrapers to beautiful bespoke homes in Brazil and residential and commercial projects in the UK. I registered with the Architects Registration Board (UK) in 2007 and became a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 2014. I qualified as an architect and urban planner at The Polytechnic University of Milan in 2003.
The creative approach to making a project vision viable and the commitment to creation in accordance with cultural, societal and environmental perspectives to make a positive impact on the world, has always been part of my ideology.
One amazing fact:
Some of the design work I oversaw whilst working in Brazil has become a point of reference for the Brazilian community and has been widely published in local and international magazines. In August 2018 Thames and Hudson published ‘Casa Moderna: Latin American Living by Philip Jodidio, in which one project, Moinho Villa, was featured among ‘the most accomplished contemporary houses’ that have marked Latin American residential architecture.
Outside the studio:
You can find me and my wife, who is also an architect, playing and exploring London with our two beautiful children. I love sailing, skiing, riding my bikes (I have 3 bikes) and taking part in any kind of sporty adventure. As I have a soft spot for good food and good wine, I love to surround myself with friends around a table and cook for them.
